WHY DOES MY HORSE NEED REGULAR DENTAL TREATMENTS

Horse's teeth continue to grow most of their lives. this can lead to sharp points, hooks or uneven wear which can affect the horse's ability to chew effectively.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY HORSE NEEDS A DENTAL CHECK UP

  • Headshaking during riding

HOW OFTEN DOES MY HORSE NEED A DENTAL CHECK UP

  • Horse's between 2 and 6 years of age should get a dental check up every 6 month 
  • Horse's 7 to 20 years of age should have a dental treatment every 12 month
  • Horse's over 20 years of age should be booked in for a dental check up every 6 month
